In this interesting article from Packaging Digest, an interesting quirk in the world of beer label regulations is explained.  This is partly a historical fight (turf war) between different government agencies, but it could have serious ramifications for brewers if they aren’t careful.

Surprisingly, required information on labels of beer sold in the U.S. depends on what ingredients are used to make the beer, not the alcohol level.
