Rose City Label, in Portland, Oregon was founded in 1928 by George Frie.

In 1958, the business was passed to his son, George Frie. Mike Pillsbury purchased Rose City Label from George Frie in 1974 and it has since been nurtured by Mike Pillsbury’s son Scott and daughter Whitney Pillsbury in 1998.

Rose City Label is the longest continuously operating Custom Label Company in the Pacific Northwest.

Originally a Letterpress Print Shop doing cake box bands and insurance policy seals, they moved into Sheet-Fed Offset Printing for glue applied, heat seal, and adhesive backed labels.
